Money ain't sh*t unless you have your health and the love of those close to you to share it with. Money can come in the greatest of abundance, but if you're a bedridden loner, then you've created a prison for yourself. You can go travel the world with the money, but can never leave the hotel. You can buy all kinds of materialistic stuff and not be able to show it off because of the fear of catching a sickness or being injured, with no one to be around because they care.
Think about it! My grandmother and mother has told me stories of how some people who were old and needed a home health aide would be angry and break things because the one they built that fortune with wasn't there anymore. Breaking expensive vases, and throwing remote controls at big screen televisions all because they are miserable and can't take it with them. They may pass those dollars over to their children and grand children, but in the end they become grumpy old farts with nothing else better to do than go crazy.
Many of us who are broke want a better life. But at what cost are you willing to sacrifice to get it? Get your money, but don't kill yourself chasing something that isn't really worth anything. Think about it...What if we were in a post apocalyptic world on some Mad Max sh*t? I bet you that money wouldn't mean a damn thing, especially over a good hunting knife and a source of clean water.
Don't treat money as if its the only thing you need, for trust me, it'll make you happy for a minute. But when the clock is counting down, and you're all alone, love will always be the greatest thing to comfort you.
Tell me if I'm lying?
